The “Pro” of ProLux means Progressive Rehabilitation Orthosis. Because the ProLux increases abdominal pressure and restricts spinal motion, it
may be used as a 3-stage brace.
1. Immediately post surgery, fit the complete ProLux.
2. Later, to reduce abdominal pressure, remove the front panel.
3. Then, to diminish motion restriction, delete the back shell.
Finally, after healing is complete, discard the mesh belt.
Features & Variations:
• Front – Full (xiphoid) or mid profile height; neutral or pendulous
• Back – TLSO, LSO, or LSM heights; 5°, 15° (standard), or 25° lordosis.
• Front plate is pre-drilled for easy Extender™ attachment.
• Open spinal relief is available on all ProLux styles.
